Personally, I want them to be relegated by Christmas. But then, I'm an optimist. Probably too much of a one, I'll admit.

I would like them to hover around 3rd or 4th (perhaps take points from dippers) and then in the last 4/5 weeks to sink to and finish 7th. Its the HOPE that kills them.

In all fairness the finger should be pointed at Boothroyd for that fuck up as a whole. The kid had a good first game, however his defence didn't in both games.
As much as I love Eddie he flaps at some corners ;-)

According to the papers today, Henderson - their 3rd choice keeper who has never played for them - wants a pay rise to 75k a week.

and the problem for them is how do they stop the seemingly never ending pay increases. I assume this is one reason why they are buying younger players who are not stars, they cannot command the same money and therefore slowly the wage bill and demands will be lowered, the problem with that is then they are buying 6th place rather than 1st.
