Very scary afternoon. Relatively safe in the rag road paddock compared to other areas but dodgy outside before and after. Was worried about two mates in the Stretford end as one spent the bus ride to the swamp telling the rags about all the grounds in the second division.What a wonderful day that was. I was born in 74, seems as good a year as any!
I was at the League Cup when they were in the second division. Sat with my old man in the United Road. I realised what they were like even as a kid.The good old days!!
