Perhaps it's just wishful thinking on my behalf but I cant help thinking that the Ronaldo talk was just to get the rags to panic. Ronaldo would never in million years suit City

I honestly believe that Ronaldo would have scored 30 goals for us this season purely because he's an excellent goalscorer and we'd have created the chances
However that's all he is. There is no teamwork from him and the baggage of wages, lack of work rate and arrogance would have been hugely disruptive to the squad

In fairness the lad on the left of the split screen pair seemed get to a place of calm by the end - some sort of "my team is shit but popcorn is good" equilibrium.

Got the impression the General Zod fella was up for complementing City's play but knows his audience just want to hear him slaughter maguire and the rest of the defence.
