I hope the Saudi owners are taking note of the hostile clubs and don't spend a penny on their players.

Seriously.

The Rags aside.

Why the f*** is Daniel Levy constantly leading and involved in the fight against wealthier (Arab) owners? Spurs under his Chairmanship will never win a trophy, so he doesn't have to be worried. He will be lucky to see Spurs in the CL again.

Why City ever wasted their time trying to get Kane is beyond me. Levy was never going to sell Kane to an 'Arab' owned club.
Because he doesn't spend his money, he wants to make sure the rest doesn't too.

Yep. And that's FFP in a nutshell. Always makes me laugh when you see supporters from other clubs looking up to their owners as though they are fighting some moral crusade when in reality the very same owners just don't want to spend money supporters have put in on their own club. They'd rather spend it killing protected animals or on failed projects elsewhere. And I'll guarantee, if say the Saudis took over their club, the same moral crusaders screaming "Human rights abuses" would be pitched up in their transfer forums with their cocks out. That's why you can't take them seriously. The internet is full of fake outraging bellends.

Jews vs Arabs?

Curtain twitching twats. Should spend more time worrying about getting their own house in order before sticking their nose in others.

They don't think that they should have to earn a place at the top table just because of their ideas of self-importance and entitlement.

Arrogant fucking club , players and fans alike .

That had crossed my mind. ;-) But there's more to it than that. These are hard nosed business Men, especially the Yanks. Unlike in the UK, they have it all their own way in America, especially the Sports Franchise owners.Try talking to an American billionaire who's investment and long-term revenue returns are at stake. That applies to Lewis and Levy at Spurs.

Just like Liverpool fans.

Self-proclaimed European Royalty. WTF?!

Only another 7 CL Cup wins until Liverpool equal Real Madrid's 13 European cups.

But the Scousers never acknowledge that fact.

To be honest I think sectarianism is a major factor at play. I heard (from a very good source) that Spurs were one of the clubs which could have been sold to Sheikh Mansour but there was a pretty vicious rebuff from the Spurs end at the prospect of selling to Arabs. It's sad that in 2021 this sort of racial/religious hatred is still part of the global business landscape.
