They're only 3 points behind us...

If they bin Ole promptly I wouldn't rule out a "challenge" as long as that means hanging around the top 2/3 until the last part of the season.
And as the media keep telling us they have a squad of "world-class" players so as soon as they sack Ole it will be business as usual. I suppose it depends on your definition of world-class.

I made a point of watching the highlights on MotD and at the end I had not heard Ronaldo's name mentioned once and I can't remember seeing any contribution he made. This is a truly disgraceful reflection on a player whose desserts were the talk of the press not so long ago and whose every touch of the ball was material foe endless replays on the TV with simpering comments about "the difference" he always makes. By then I was quizzing myself to think of any of their players who had actually raised a sweat and I couldn't name one - they jogged around, allowed players to run off them and never tracked back or followed runs. Leicester passed through them with heart warming regularity. United were absolutely useless out of possession and the only other time I have seen a team put no pressure on the ball at all was yesterday at St James Park. United don't play as a team, yesterday they didn't even reach the standard expected of a rabble. Is it OGS's fault? In part, but I think the problems run much deeper than that ... to Florida?

I would say the problems start with John Murtagh

As my daughter is isolating and I'll be taking on the role of teacher this week too, thought I'd sharpen up on my nursery rhymes and no better place to do that than the united thread.

This old man, he played one
Game in in six cos his legs had gone
With a nit nat paddy whack, Ronaldo's f***ing wank
But at least he's laughing all the way to the bank

Harry Maguire set up a wall
Harry Maguire forgot to tackle the ball
All the Albanian mafia and legal summons for his name
Couldn't get Harry to go to Greece again

Wee Willy Wio where do you wander
In and out of bathroom windows when the drug testers daunt ya

1, 2 , 3, 4, 5
United's title challenge is on the slide
6, 7, 8 , 9, 10
Looks like they're going to need var again

Right all set, this followed by the six one video for cultural appreciation :)
Just how old is your daughter?
"Now darling, I am going to teach you some old English. Put the following phrase into a sentence.....:fucking wank."

The Sir Rashford Of The Shires camp are unhappy at Oles comments about him having to concentrate on football.

How dare he :)

I keep be g told by bluemooners that Luke Shaw is class, I am embarrassed that however hard I try I cannot see it.

I only watched the MoTD highlights but I wasn't at all surprised by their collective amnesia regarding the show pony. I believe he spent almost the entire game standing about with his hands on his hips waiting for someone to do all the work and then hand it to him for a tap in.
The man made absolutely no effort to assist his teammates despite the fact they were pretty much under the cosh from the start.
But he certainly wasn't alone. Just what the fuck does Pogbad do on the pitch? Apart from sport a new hairstyle and give the ball away incessantly. If the show pony was anonymous then Pogbad was fucking invisible.
And then you look at Slabhead...FFS! Does he know he's supposed to be a defender? Has anybody told him it would help his side if he deigned to do the job he's paid for now and again? Slow, ponderous, always half a yard behind the attackers, reads the game about as well as Stevie Wonder.

I hate the rags with such a ferocious intensity that it worries me at times, so their current situation soothes my stress levels and makes me feel all good and harmonious with my fellow men. But in all sincerity I have to ask: 'What the fuck is happening to them in that debt-riddled cesspit of theirs?'

The ridiculous sums of money they have paid out for players over the last few years is nothing short of a disgrace, and they've got sweet fuck all to show for it.

The back four have to work as a unit. If they don't, individuals look bad.
They don't even know who their CBs should be.

If the FA had punished the club with a sanction first time round, then the media wouldn't be shit stirring for another protest now.
The FA did fuck all and will be shitting it now for another unruly happening at the Swamp thus bringing the eyes of the world onto the murky side of the English Premier League
Be interesting to see what sanctions England receive for the incidents at the Euros, which weren’t anywhere near worthy of getting the game called off

I mean, bias aside... I'm not sure how world class they're squad is??

De Gea - Seems to be back on form with his shot stopping, rest of his game not world class.
Shaw - Fair enough, been good for a while
Maguire - Nope, not having it.
Varane/Lindelof - Varane could be but not convinced.
Fred/McTom/Matic - Nope, nope & nope
Pogba - World class in his head, too many parts of his game missing to be considered in that bracket
Fernandes - Torn here, pretty immense stats but how many times has he showed up in a big game?
Rashford - Decent but will never be as good as they thought/hoped he was gonna be.
Sancho - They'll probably ruin him.
Greenwood - Looks the part to be fair
Ronaldo - Only genuine World Class player but team has to be set up around him to get the best out of him.

I agree with all of that except Ronaldo who is not world-class any more. He is about as world-class as George Weah was when we signed him. Not many of those players would get anywhere near the Chelsea, Liverpool, or City first 11.

Ronaldo sits in the box waiting for tap ins, literally.
How is putting two past Newcastle and 3 past Luxemburg world class ? Where was he vs Villa , Everton 2nd half when he played , Leicester ? Ronaldo is done, he will still score against small teams but in the big games against good teams he'll be caught lacking unless they get penalties , then he will score. If I'd have a choice I'd take Cavani over Ronaldo anyday. Cavani doesnt score as often as Ronaldo but thats because he doesn't sit in the box waiting for tap ins all game , he actually runs , tracks backs , passes the ball to someone in a better position so on.
Greenwood is very overrated, he has good shooting skills but besides that he is useless , he shoots from every position every time he can , obviously some are going to go in. He's just a younger Ronaldo trying to score for himself , completely useless for team play.
