Rangnick built the Red Bull football Group from scratch. Leipzig is the flagship but Salzburg is not far behind. Concept has similarities with CFG, and they developed many good players such as Haaland, Mane, as well as Julian Nagelsmann as coach. Before that he built Hoffenheim into a Bundesliga Club (Nagelsmann started there).
The guy is good.
He is also a very strongminded guy. I foresee conflicts with the various powers of United.

To save you any trouble finding out.. apparently he is a football god, a genius, the most innovative forward thinking astute coach that has ever walked the planet. He makes pep look like a shit Mike Bassett. The elite coaches worship him and hang off his every word. He will carry the rags into football paradise and a new era of complete domination

Anyone who is saying all the German coaches have based their style off him (Klopp, Nagelsmann etc) are just reading his wiki page (it literally says that) and probably have 0 idea of watching any team he has coached before.
They tried Tiki Taka with Van Gaal now it's Geggenpress (or whatever) with this guy. I am intrigued to see how he and his style flares in the PL and in this Rag squad.
There are lot of competent coaches out there and I am not too worried about who they hire. The media is smartly masking the fact that Ronaldo is a short term signing which needed to pay off in terms of trophies in one of these 2 years and it isn't yet.
That said they definitely have someone lined up for the summer, since it's being actively defined as a 6 month job with a consulting role later.

This is the reason why I think it’s a good appointment for them. Makes me think that they’re finally realising the United way is a myth. He’s going to have a very hard time asking Ronaldo and Pogba to press though, could be great, could be messy.

If this guy is such a visionary how come the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Psg, Bayern Munich, Spurs, Arsenal, Everton, Wolves, Villa, etc not get on the phone to him since he left Leipzig in 2019 and all the clubs mentioned sacked their managers in that time? all of above are in my book are old school and after last nights game any good coach must watch pep and city vs PSG
and say its the way forward. even klopp at liverpool was made to look average when city played them without strikers. if this city squad had haaland or kane nobody get near us

pep has really changed football in the premier league over the 5 year. but from last season to now he's gone up another level with is skill style energy he has put into this team its crazy the levels we have never seen before.

yes there is so many different ways to win a football match and if you drill your squad into a style you want to play and believe in then its job half done. then you add quality players and you give anybody a game of football

but last night we did something that needs picking the bones out of and should be studied by all
we just played a level of football that you just never seen before ? mark my words here PSG are a very good outfit and have world class players. but we put them through pain that made them submit and wave the white flag.
