I can't see how the owners could have done anything differently. I'm not well up on that side of football, but they've spent big...and their wage bill is big. So surely the owners are doing their bit?
It's the latter: mards. Proper mards. I tell them: "just accept that you're shit, and you will be for a few years....enjoy being shit". The difference between us when we were shit and them now is humour and humility. We had it, they lack it.
