Maybe we need to start worrying about these being title challengers.

They've taken the same number of points as we have in the past 10 games, have been to our place and have had more difficult fixtures.
Fair comment mate. Despite the good run they’re on I don’t think they’ve yet got the consistency to haul back 8 points on Arsenal and 6 on us especially with a glut of Thu night fixtures to contend with but I’m worried that they’re improving.

Getting rid of Pogba and the manager having seemingly won his battle of wills with Ronaldo increases the likelihood that the squad are all rowing in the same direction too which hasn’t been the case for years and has been a big factor in their lack of success.

I think the period of laughing at the rags may be coming to an end. The manager who knows a lot more than most on here certainly thinks so. Not sure they can mount a credible challenge this season but I would expect a serious effort over the next couple of years.
We laughed because it was and still is funny. They are good enough to get top 4 but considering the money they have spunked, that should be a minimum.
We laughed because of their terrible transfer window, desperately chasing players that didnt want to come.
We laughed because their 80 million pound signing is getting booed by his own fans........ what do you mean which one ? Maguire.
We laughed because their new manager wants to play out from the back, but their keeper can't. He's on 400k a week and yet not in Spains 55 man world cup team.
We laughed because they are manure.

No matter how good or bad they are, their club and fans will ALWAYS give us something to laugh at.
It's in their DNA.

I'd have thought the fact that they are below a handful of teams that average more points per game than them would be one factor....
And that statistical anomaly has something to do with the fact that they're fucking shit.

Didn't watch it - never watch them, or the red lot down the M62, unless we're involved - can't stand the sucking up
I don't usually watch any games other than ours but on Sunday the weather here in NZ was shit so I tuned into a web site that shows highlights of all EPL games. I watched the first few minutes of the scousers v Leeds. The goal that Leeds scored was comedy gold. Out by the touchline on the left-wing Gomez did a look away back pass to his goalie who was stranded well away from the net. The Kop watched aghast as the Leeds forward strolled in from near the penalty spot and tapped the ball into an empty net
