"He's achieved a lot of success".

Those Dutch folk; they have a weird sense of humour.

Well he's managed to keep breathing in and out for 29 years, without anyone reminding him. And he can, occasionally, put one foot in front of another without falling over. And he can presumably feed himself and got through potty training successfully.

But we all now that he will have family issues on the dates of the 2 derbies as he really doesn't want his shallow vanity destroyed by us again
He's running scared of being a part of potentially the biggest beating of their lives. He doesn't want to be on the pitch if it happens - and presumably doesn't believe there's anything he can do to help them avoid it.

That sums up their whole culture at present. Selfish. Beaten. Learned helplessness.

And if Ten Haag can't see that, he's already dead in the water.
And if he can see it but is not allowed to act on it , he's also dead in the water - unless he can last a season and start again, going hardline the year after next.

So this could be a hilarious year to watch him try to navigate, as whatever principles he wants to instill are instantly melted by the radioactive sulk in the corner.

I have flown to Australia. It is fucking hard. Basically 24 hours in two different planes. Oh sure you can upgrade to posh seats but it still messes with your body and takes days to recover. According to the media the rags still expect Erikson to join them for their week down under. The guy nearly died and yet they want to drag him all that way and back again for a friendly !!!!
Good point that.
It shines a spotlight on what the rags are all about.
Firkin SCUM!
