Absolute circus and it's fantastic.

Neville spent months talking about how patience was crucial and how the club shouldn't look to a short term man like Conte but instead move for Poch. I believe it was Micah trying to tell him that was nonsense, but Neville knows best. He was convinced a 5 year plan was needed, like had been seen with Liverpool and City.

Yet here we are, two games into the tenure of Ten Hag and already he's riling up the mob to come and tear chunks out of the swamp. That game next Monday isn't happening. He's moaning about the ground, the players, the owners. He can't make his mind up. The owners have put in cash to buy a lot of players. Maguire, Fernandes, Sancho that other lad who is shite that they spent on from Ajax. The fact is, they're a team that is completely shit and has no confidence and a team that all others want to hammer into the ground. If they were given time, I think they'd turn things around under Ten Hag. But they'll keep kicking off and it will only lead to more disharmony and more poor performances.

And I'll be there watching on the box just like I was at 5.30pm lapping it all up with a big fucking smile.

Neville speaks intelligently on some issues, I thought he was fantastic regarding the Super League, but he shouldn't be on television regarding United. He's unprofessional and let's his emotion dictate the topic of conversation.

When United fans stormed Old Trafford because City were going to win the league, he refused to acknowledge the abhorrent behaviour of his fellow supporters. He was like a cheerleader. United finished second that season, in the same summer he was like a child at Christmas when they signed Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo. That took their spending since Ferguson left to over a billion pounds.

There were many pundits who had them down as title favourites. Fast forwards a few months and Ole was gone, United were in sixth and again investment was the issue. Its nothing to do with investment. There is a hubris and arrogance amongst their fanbase who believe that because they support Manchester United they deserve success. They've tried to organise three mass walkouts in the last year because their owners won't spend another £400m that's needed to challenge City.

Its embarrassing and the idea that it's because of the investment in the stadium/structure is bollocks. Its because they're no longer competitive and other teams are far better coached. They should give Ten Hag time, but they won't because they're so utterly demanding that they see themselves as above where they are.

They berated Liverpool for years regarding history and living in the past. But that's exactly what they've been doing for a decade. They used to take the piss out of City fans over things like attendance, but they're organising mass walkouts left, right and centre. The hypocrisy and I'm loving every minute of it. Long may it continue.
