He knows a busted flush when he sees one, i think he genuinely thought the Rags would get into the CL and lets face it with the money the Glazers have spent on the squad they should have expected to.

I am taking a lot of comfort from the fact he has been in the club for 12 months has seen the inner workings and will have been speaking with the Tent Peg and the big cheeses at the Swamp. And after all of this his decision is he wants to fuck off.

Just goes to show how convinced he is by the set up.

When you can keep a 37 year old despite paying him £500k a week then something is wrong
 
If I’m Ten Haag I can hardly believe my luck, he won’t have to deal w “having to” start Ronaldo. He can start building his own team—though ofcourse hopefully he fails at it.

Who can afford him other than the usual suspects? Im seeing Chelsea, but why would Tuchel want him? Speaking of “romance”, are Sporting Lisbon in the champions league?
