I am thinking Slade about 1983...long past their heyday. That sums United up these days. They are touring Thailand this year but next it will be the Phillipines. You can't blame them for trying to milk the Golden Goose but these are great times to be a City fan.

Yep, these events are almost always funded by sponsors. And then a lot of the tickets will be corporates or competition winners. Not many people can afford the full price, but they might be able to afford a few quid to enter a competition.
 
Puzzling what is going on at the rags they don’t seem to be very active in the transfer market. You think the new manager would have given them a wish list of players and they would have bern proactive getting them onboard when the curtain came down on last season. They are now one week into pre season and not much is happening, are we expecting more last minute daftness from them like they did in late August 2021?
 
We all know why Ericsson has not signed yet it will save them millions he probably sign a week before the season starts! Being in a free and they say he is getting three times more than at Brentford I presume he be on at least 250/300k a week…

Its not all bad, at least they can pick up a ticket for the Match of the Century tomorrow in Bangkok at a 50% discount. Just go to the stadium, no queues.
