Back in the day where we’d get some awful groups, Madrid, Dortmund and Ajax. We didn’t have much luck in the competition back then.
City did get difficult groups at the time.
One year we finished rock bottom with 3 points, notwithstanding the fact that City were up against 3 of the very best teams in Europe.
Oh the press loved that - City with the lowest ever points total for a British team, they mocked.
Not worthy of playing in the C/L they said.
Well this season, the rags may well finish with ZERO points.
Let's see what the media make of that if it does happen!

When exactly was it even a relevant big game , I’d say our games with the victims has been a bigger game for at least the last decade…

They are the bigger games.

I remember Rodgers taking Liverpool to Old Trafford in the dying days of Ferguson's reign, Rodgers was all puppy eyes with the piss can, basking in the reflected glory, look everyone Utd are bigging us up! And Ferguson was bigging Liverpool up, coz the old bastard knew the truth, he could see which way the wind was blowing, he was putting us in our place while he could.

Well the old bugger has lived long enough to see he was right, the only thing he got wrong was the strength, it was no wind it was whirlwind.

Their new walk out music.....
