He’d have to master turning corners thoughHe'd know how to mould them.

No chance De Zerbi goes there. Even though Brighton have stuttered a bit this season as teams have worked out the system I still think he's an excellent coach and he's definitely been earmarked to go to a top club. They won't put up with it for much longer. The bloke has spent over 400 million and they're worse than ever. It also looks like he's lost the dressing room. Probably sounding the Brighton manager or Potter out.
Still in the premier league, won a trophy last season, could ( As unlikely as it seems ) win a trophy this season and they have melts like this. Please God let them get relegated.

He couldn't turn it round with those players because they are technically too poor. But he could do it in about three seasons if he had free reign on transfers. Remember it took him 12 months to get City up to scratch. Here's a question. It's a grisly thought, but let that pass. It's just an alternate universe question.
Could Pep — even Pep — turn it round for them, assuming that the Glazers were still at the helm?
I actually have my doubts. And he's the greatest.
Your username is testament to the fact that even during the relatively dark times, there are still moments of joy.Real utd fans know the score i have one mate who goes all over with them.He never gave me grief when we were bobbins just respect for keeping with it.He reckons what they need is a relegation reset like in the 70s.They have had thier time they are now what they were in the 70s and 80s a cup side.We will have our time but our older fans will be able to deal with it as we know what the 80s and 90s were like. They are now in the same boat we were a generation is growing up and they are shit no reason to support them kids latch on to success so for them its City,Chelsea and Newcastle in the next few years.
That’s all really well observed. And fucking true.I don't think I've ever heard the rag fans criticise a single managerial appointment that the Glazers have made initially, not even Mourinho.
Nor have I ever heard the fans express any initial criticism or disappointment with any players that have been purchased in the Glazer era.
It's only when those managers and players turn out to be shit that suddenly the fans say what bad appointments and bad signings they were and its all the Glazers fault.
Off the top of my head , in between busby and the bully we had 8 ?Between the former City player and the pisscan, the rags had 5 managers (plus Busby replaced McGuiness for a second stint) in 16 years.
Since the Govan tyrant retired, they have had another five in charge on a permanent basis, plus caretaker eras of Bryan Briggs, Carrick and rag nick.
But they don't sack managers.
