I got up this morning and it was light because inevitably day follows night.

Also inevitable is a lengthy puff piece from Slimon Stone on the BBC

According to Neville, playing centre forward for the rags is the top job in world football. The self delusion is unbelievable - this is a team of also rans we're talking about. Club in turmoil, mid-table and playing shit football year after year, yet it's the "top job" ?? Words fail me.

It will be quite interesting to see how this is spun, arent the accounts of most teams published so it will be relatively simple to see who has lost what and in what manner, if everyone is not charged under the same rules i can imagine there being some legal challenges to this.

That'll be why Harry Kane went to them then? No? Erling Haaland? Really - Wout Weghorst and Odion Ighalo? You gotta be taking the piss.

Chuckle brother now bemoaning FFP hindering the Raggies.

Expect a rule change soon...
the weird thing is, his argument does not hold water, they have spent over 1 billion pounds with ffp and bought crap with it, there is not a player currently playing in the pl that they couldnt have bought with ffp in place, they are using ffp as a shield to hide from chronic mismanagement and expect people with half a brain to swallow it.

Ask this to any united fan , take away ffp tomorrow and give them 500m to spend, is the assumption that it fixes the team because im not sure how it does as they would have to shift players out who are on very big contracts to make way for new signings and lets say you write those contracts off which would cost around 250m, are you absolutely sure that everyone wants to play for the rags because that is no longer the case anymore despite united fans clinging to that roy of the rovers bullshit that they desperately believe so its all well and good having the money, convincing the clubs and players to come to you is a different ballgame entirely.

Final point is we were told by the media and opposition fans that we could have all the money in the world and it wouldnt make a difference as money doesnt buy success, but apparently now when they dont have success it makes a massive difference.
