Just seen the celebration for the rags friendly goal today. Fuck me you’d think they just scored against us in a champs league final! Pathetic
Every goal they score regardless of how irrelevant and scrappy it might be they celebrate it like they've just scored a 95th minute winner in the champions league final.

I honestly believe they're contractually obliged to perform these wild over the top goal celebrations for the benefit of the cameras as part of pushing the "united brand" they're just a pantomime of a club, more concerned with image and publicity rather than actual success.

Just to quote your trillion fans bit.
Barca and Madrid have close to twice the insta followers that they do.
City have over 46m
Liverpool 42.5m
Arsenal 26m

I’d never use social media as a barometer for a fanbase , but them saying they are the biggest club in the world still , certainly over the past ten years is fucking laughable.
It’s all in their minds , when the reality is completely different, City eclipse them on revenue to boot.
The way they calculate their number of fans is laughable, the way it is calculated is that if you have ever searched the words manchester or man utd on google, they count you as a fan

So a quarter of a billion spent in the last window and now if they get Hojilund as well for the reported £50-£60m then that's well over £150m spent in this window, all whilst not selling anyone of significant value at all... and this is united supposedly having to "limit their spending in order to comply with FFP"

Given their decade of failure and underachievement I find it really difficult to understand how they're still capable of out-spending every other club in the league, if not every other club in Europe for the last 10 years.

They do it as the banks know by extending their business loans they can shaft them for the interest. Interest rates will go up even further in the next 6-12 months. The owners don’t seem to mind that the debt is creeping up and the cost of loaning money is rising up at the same time. All this talk of organic earned money, it’s now total bollocks when they are now spending more money than they earn. They are an absolute basket case of a club that burns through money and continually makes bad decision after decision. You do have to wonder what their books look like at the moment trouble is no one really can because of where they are hidden away.

I distinctly recall in the media, back in November, someone saying that the 6 Glazer siblings, wouldn't budge until each one of them walked away with a billion each.

I don't think that the any of the offers have met that target yet.

The other bit to consider is this. Even after someone potentially bids the 6 billion, they still have a 900 million debt to contend with. And then they have to buy out the class B shares. So it actually comes out at 7.5bn

INEOS bid was 4.5bn - Miles off

Qatar seem to have tabled the 6bn asking price, but want to be debt free afterwards, which is fair enough. For that to be possible, the Glazer siblings would have to split the 5.1bn between them. So they would all walk away with 850m each. But they won't do that.

This stalemate is a combination of Qatar's reputation and the Glazers greed.
Ineos bid was for about 62% of the total shares, i.e no NYSE shares. Valued the whole at about £6bn.

MUFC is actually a shell company with no current transactions.
