We’re at Manchester Airport, and there is red shit everywhere.

Shirts, tracksuit tops, bags. You name it.

One of the airport staff noticed Mrs Vienna's City coat, and pointed it out to one of his colleagues, who is a rag.

I stuck four fingers up at him, and said, "There’s only one team in Manchester!"

He then claimed that the rags are the only team in Manchester, at which point, Mrs Vienna said that they’re in Trafford, and she should know, as she grew up in Stretford.

Shame it's frowned upon to carry weapons in airports these days.

Looks like the rags may be demoted to the Conference League due to INEOS part owning Nice but I bet they get away with it
Would be piss funny
If a solution is not found United would have to drop into the Conference League as they finished lower in the Premier League last season than fifth-placed Nice did in Ligue 1.

But, I don’t think we do, BECAUSE we are minority owners.

That’s the whole point of owning less than 50%, as far as I can gather.
You would think so, I actually asked a question of the guardians Spanish football correspondent about reporting Gerona being “city owned” when the stake was 40%, he seemed genuine when he answered “yeah but they control everything” which seemed glib if not inaccurate.

Be great if it happened but we ll know the deal by now. In fact Gill will probably be making a case to promote the rags to the CL to avoid the clash !

"If a solution is not found". I'd put money on the powers that be will work around the clock until they find the solution.

They’ve all turned up loud and proud at work today. You’d think they’d played every team off the park on their way to victory and had a fantastic season. One even compared it to watching the 1999 treble winning team.

Oh and not one of them was at Wembley. All sat at home in their armchairs. All the excuses come out, can’t get a ticket, too expensive, my cousins dog died.

Shows how deluded they really are. To be honest I think winning Saturday prolongs it as it’s all masked over how bad they actually are and makes them think they are on track again.

Also met some Spurs and Chelsea fans in London Saturday night. They all had the same option of them and even mentioned how many southern Utd fans there are that come crawling out once they win a game.

Roll on next season.
United suffer from the persistent hallucination that they are one game away from being a good team. The media reinforce this fantasy. Winning a cup exaggerates it further. About half way through a season it begins to dawn on them that they are in fact shit. Long may it continue.
