“Money saved going on the first team”

Let’s be generous and say those 250 people were each on GBP100k a year. That’s GBP25 million saved. Their weekly wage bill is GBP5 million. They saved just over a month’s worth of first team money. Not to be sniffed at, but it’s a one time saving.
A lot of them will be poorly paid & on nothing like 100k.
What a time to lose your job, in the middle of a cost of living crisis.
Utd = bunch of utter cunts

Must be a good feeling knowing you are being made redundant so the company can employ a multi millionaire footballer

Part of the 250 Job cuts story was this:
In addition, United have just committed £50m to the development of its Carrington training ground, which in the short term has led to the women’s team vacating the new facility constructed for them so it can be used by Erik ten Hag’s squad.

Note the complete lack of uproar by those in the woman's game about their womens team being booted out of their own training ground

Back to the portacabins for them then :)
