Can somebody explain the Ronaldo thing with rag fans? (speak slowly and use big words etc!)

Spent six seasons with them. Then forced through a move to Real Madrid. Spent nine seasons with them. And then four with Juventus.

So he had thirteen prime years away playing for anybody but them. Yet somehow, he was "coming home" when he re-signed for them.

My question is then, if he loved them so much, why spend over double the time playing for somebody else?
Why wasn't the fans pissed off that he dare play for somebody else in the first place. Because don't forget "United" are the biggest club in the world. Big players only come to them, not leave. "This is Man United we are talking about". (not arrogant...just better)

They acted like jilted lovers.
Ie the missus leaves you for a better looking guy. She fucks around with him and another guy for thirteen years.
Then when the last guy won't spend as much money as before, she suddenly starts phoning you again.
She did leak a rumour than she fancied your (noisey) neighbour. This was to make sure you didn't hesitate, and agreed to come back to you if you treated her right and showed her complete respect. (ie give her lots of money)

He's completely had them. Yet most still think he is the messiah and one of them...
he's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy

It's the PR department at the Trafford Ministry of Truth, they tell the masses what they think they want to hear.
If 25%Jim tells them their latest signing is the world's greatest in that particular position, then he is. If they are told that Johnny fucking Evans is actually only 19 years of age, then he is.

The Glazers took all their ideas from George Orwell's 1984 and implemented the strictest regime ever adapted by a football club. 25%Jim is O'Brien (representative of Big Brother), and all rag supporters are known by the names Winston and Julia - any fan who doesn't wish to be called either of these names will be sent to room 101 immediately.

At this moment in time the rags have never ever been rivals of the dippers, not once in their entire history. On the contrary, they have always loved, admired and respected ALL scousers and are secretly members of the dipper supporters club. Although by tonight that may change, the Ministry of Truth might decide that the rags have always been at war with the dippers and thoroughly detest everything scousers stand for. And if anybody says: "Oh, hang on a sec. Earlier today we were told that we love the dippers. WTF is going on?" then room 101 gets another visitor.

I saw in the BBC’s Gossip Column this morning that Antony could go out on loan, provided the club he signs for is willing to pay his £70k/week salary.

Now, call me cynical, but I would have thought that a player?, who commands a transfer fee of £80 million, would have wages higher than £70 grand a week.
Yer jokin mate, he would have walked there for nowt to play for the biggest club in the world

Bad as the dippers who claimed Nunez, (with the entirety of their squad despite a bigger eage bill than us)was on a pitance when they broke their transfer record for him. You aren't breaking your transfer record and then putting them on pay parity with your backup keeper.
