That audio alone is a sackable offence, make no mistake.

This only ends one way. If they try to bring him back, it won't last. The situation will reach fever pitch very, very quickly.

The evidence against him will be on the evening news every night. Sponsors will gradually begin to pull out. Ten Hag will be asked about him at every press conference and inevitably say something stupid. More details will come out about the case and why it never got to court.

Put basic human deceny aside. Even from a heartless, ruthless, money-driven point of view, it still doesn't make sense to bring him back.

Did anyone ever really doubt it when his return was first mooted? Did any of us seriously think they'd dump him the moment the charges were dropped?
There are only two Premier league clubs who would act in this manner, because I seriously don't think any other club would stoop so low.

Horrible ****, but they do have form for it

Went for a pint in Hale on Saturday and a certain illegitimate ex winger of theirs was in with his missus, who after a few was loudly berating him for sleeping with someone else and the whole of Cheshire knowing about it
Did you manage to ascertain whether he has found his birth certificate?

;-)

A scum club who makes scum decisions no surprise. Even the United fans who don’t want him back will turned a blind eye when he scores a few goals. It’s just their dna. No shock the manager wants him back wasnt he desperate to bring back overmars too

City suspended him and allowed his contract to lapse, regardless of the outcome of the trial.

You are being nonsensically contrary for the sake of it.
I'm just saying they are different situations, greenwood has 2 years left on his contract. You can't make a fair comparison

With respect, you’re being spectacularly naive.

Nobody at Sky/TNT/BBC will be bringing it up at press conferences and any freelancer who does will be skipped over and the question ignored.

Realistically the only concern sponsors will have is not wanting him in their marketing literature.

On the pitch/in the ground, the second he scores a goal for them it will all be forgotten about.
