I keep reading on here how bad it will be for the rags if Greenwood is brought back. I find it had to believe that the press/media as a whole will turn on the rags. I just dont see it.
I can see the press/media spinning the 'he deserves another chance he is young ' etc.
If the press/media were going to give the rags a hard time over Greenwood it would have happened by now. The fact that the rags are still thinking about what to do with Greenwood should be enough for the press/media to pile in.

This type of poor behaviour towards women seems to be rife at the rags. When does it get investigated ?

I just get the feeling that Greenwood will play again for the rags, the press/media will help utd ride out the outcry.

I would like to think I am wrong. I would like to think the rags ladies team all hand in transfer requests. I like to think rags, ladies fans walk away from the club but I cant see it.

The fact the rags are taking so long to decide what to do tells me all I need to know.
Tbf, Adam Crafton at The Athletic (who I have little time for) has certainly been holding them to account on this. There have been quite a few critical pieces elsewhere too.

Whilst they have control over msm they don’t over social media- and this is where they will be hit hard and sponsors will take note

The spin will be something along the lines of "well; if the lady in question can forgive him, who are we to deny him a second chance?

Imagine them getting to another cup final this season he could end up shaking hands with some very "important" people in front of millions which would be interesting.
But then again he might of already received a new years honour by then for all the amazing charity work that he's going to start to do from next week.
This is the rags we are talking about

ETH seems to be sympathetic towards abusers. Who disagreed with the Overmars sacking when he was at Ajax.

You could say that Manchester United are encouraging a rape and abuse culture with zero respect for woman rights

I would like to think that mens players and fan at united walk away. Is it not just as much their job to care about these things too? And arguably would have more impact.

It's all moot anyway. This is a societal wide issue and I expect most clubs have protected abusers or would do so in similar situations.
