I cant grasp why united havemt just paid up his contract and let him go . Why are they keeping hold and dragging this on/out??

We've already seen the pie in the sky valuations they placed on Maguire and Mcfoulalot... they obviously perceive Greenwood to be worth £100m+

I keep reading on here how bad it will be for the rags if Greenwood is brought back. I find it had to believe that the press/media as a whole will turn on the rags. I just dont see it.
I can see the press/media spinning the 'he deserves another chance he is young ' etc.
If the press/media were going to give the rags a hard time over Greenwood it would have happened by now. The fact that the rags are still thinking about what to do with Greenwood should be enough for the press/media to pile in.

This type of poor behaviour towards women seems to be rife at the rags. When does it get investigated ?

I just get the feeling that Greenwood will play again for the rags, the press/media will help utd ride out the outcry.

I would like to think I am wrong. I would like to think the rags ladies team all hand in transfer requests. I like to think rags, ladies fans walk away from the club but I cant see it.

The fact the rags are taking so long to decide what to do tells me all I need to know.

They may well try but they have to realise that decent fans wont forget it.

Doesn’t matter what his perceived or actual value are, he’s finished 100%. The women’s game is too big to ignore these days and there will be uproar from them if he’s not let go by the scum…!

He may get an opening abroad somewhere, where woman’s rights are not taken seriously but no chance anywhere else …

Whilst all the while they were hapoy to treat survivors and widows of munich with utter contempt , whilst milking the tragedy for all its worth.
Were happy to turn a blind eye to a bullying **** in charge.
Gave words of support to sister in law shagging, girlfriend beating weirdo brian briggs.
And now sitting on the fence to gauge reaction to this utter scum bag mason greenwood. Seeing how the land lies, can they still bag a bit of money for him.

The rags seem to be a little more careful these days about what they’re spending and getting big earners like De Gea (and potentially Maguire) off their books. That Arsenal YouTuber seems to think the Greenwood fiasco is really just a Glazer-led cost-cutting exercise…no transfer fee and a mere £75,000 a week (with no chance of asking for more). Got to disagree with you here. For whatever you think about what happened, by law someone is innocent until proven guilty in a court. We can argue about his guilt, but the fact remains within our system as it currently stands, those that prosecute crime don't believe they can prove his guilt. For what its worth, my view is that the system we have that effectively punishes his girlfriend if she proceeds with a complaint is wrong beyond words.

That being said as an employer, United have a duty of care to their contracted employee however distasteful that might be. Now if it was a situation like Lee Hughes I would agree with you.
