Sadly I agree but, it doesn't look right even if the current laws of the game say it was legal.

They have all these convoluted rules to, in theory, give the benefit to the attacker but then rule out goals for being so marginally offside that no-one in the ground had any problem with in real time.

I think before the game everyone knew that if it wasnt going well then atwell would make sure that it went okay and he did just that with the sending off and the penalty, both of which were contentious and both of which wouldnt have been given at the other end and if you dont believe that to be the case as i have said before explain why the penalty against wolves wasnt given and also the one at spurs both of which were much more contact yet neither given.

What makes it worse is that there is the idea well that doesnt get given at the swamp or klanfield and its even spoken about by managers and laughed at like its okay but in reality it just admitting that there is inbuilt bias and cheating within the game and rather than be embarassed about that pgmol laugh about it like its some giant joke rather than an embarrassment to a multi billion pound business, the evidence is there for all to see but just happily ignored.

Did Rashford go down far too easily, of course he did, have we got players that would do the same, of course we have.
The Ref & Var decisions are a different matter though

Only just had chance to see the silly red bastards highlights

The pen was a pen. It was a clumsy tackle , yeah rashford may have made a meal of it (something i hate about the modern game) but you would 100% want that if it was us.

The sending off though … im not sure it absolutely denied a goal scoring opportunity. I thought that couldve gone either way, but we all know which way it will always go.

I was sat on a beach, saw forest had gone 2 up early doors and knew deep down it was too early in the game for them. Too long to hold out.
What i do know is this is a decidedly average united team. They dont bother me at all. Scraping past a forest team that will be near the bottom come may, with the help of officials, again, doesnt bode well for them.

Theyll sneak into top 4 again, but so fuckin what. Thats their level now

Wankers

That's how they manipulate games
At the scum! Give the 50/50 pen when's it's the rags don't give it when it's any other team they play! These dodgy 50/50 decisions happened at that dump before var..

There are certain decisions in football that will cause controversy in the game for ever and a day.

Amount of contact
Handball
Offside

I was late watching motd but had read of the huge injustice and the refs obvious corruption. Then I saw it and well its just the usual really.

Refs are corrupt against us or for(insert team of choice)
Commentators slate us all game but love(insert team of choice)
Every team tries really hard against us but rolls over for(insert team of choice)
The worst fans ever are(insert team of choice)
The most deluded fans(insert team of choice)

The problem with having threads full of biased fuckwittery is when people have genuine concerns no one listens.

All football fans are pretty much the same really. They range from as balanced as can be expected supporting a club to full on biased cult like loons.

* obviously the rags and candlepool are the worse though

These clubs fans forums have threads about how City have the Refs/PL and even commentators in their pockets. Absolutely convinced we get all the decisions and are dishing brown envelopes out

Well, we do don't we? No way we win a treble, 3 PLs on the bounce, 100 points in a season etc without brown envelopes. No way is it great football! Get on message.

I see what you did there

If you post that in the VAR thread, not only will you get piled on by everyone, you’ll be reminded of your post every time anything can be perceived to be helping teams in red shirts.

It’s social media in a nutshell. People love to get riled up together over a common issue.

This is obviously true but is irrelevant to the point that United have had two (three?) potentially game-winning decisions go their way in two home games: one leading to an apology, and the others leading to the other team to consider an official complaint. Or is that a biased view?
