Amazing to think how the rags and the dippers has become a big game. Before Munich, fans of City and united often went to watch both clubs, whilst favouring one or the other. The disaster then brought a huge swell of interest in united from different quarters.
But City were always their rival.
As you rightly say, the rivalry with the dippers was simply a money making campaign which hadn't been there before.
Anyway, both clubs and their supporters are pretty " hollow" in terms of allegiance, whipped up by money.
Despite their claims the rags didn't exist in 1894Spot-on. And they seem so defensive about “us not being their rival” even though we have been bitter rivals since 1894. Anyone born and brought up in Manchester knows what it’s like at school and every workplace. The LFC rivalry was manufactured to squeeze more money out of overseas fans. It didn’t really exist before the late 1980s.

Another rag "supporter" crawling out of the woodwork.
When asked what he watches on TV, celebrity chef and restaurateur Michel Roux says: "Rugby - or Manchester United, if they're on".
In othwr words,a typical celeb who knows nothing about football, and has no conneection with the north-west, but thinks that Man Utd are worth watching because ..........I can't actually think why. Does he think it's "cool"?
Stick to cooking, Michel - or, as they say in your country, "Ta gueule, con".........
They remind me slightly of us under Swales and throwing about money wanting to be important and relevant, reeves and Daley transfers £1mill ..We are obviously their biggest rivals. The obsessive behavior of the people running their club says it all. We hired Guardiola and they desperately hired Mourinho to one up us, even though he was 100% the wrong choice if they wanted to replace Van Gaal with a possession oriented manager. Then they tried to one up us over Sanchez, which was the definition of pettiness and turned into another disaster. Then Fred, Maguire, the desperation to get Sancho to once again try to show us up. And let's not forget the frenzy when Ronaldo was linked to us, which also turned into a disaster and cratered their season once again.
I don't see them trying to hijack Liverpool's deals or trying to constantly one up them.
Moyes rightly picked up which way the clubs were headed and said something along the lines of "We need to be more like City" after we battered them 4-1 and they absolutely pilloried him.
Did'nt that happen in 2013?Have they been taken over yet?
I think it was De Gea that did the rags over. I'm sure he realised they were stringing him along until they could get the Onana deal done so he just went ahead and announced he was leaving.Inter done them dirty there! lol. Let De Gea leave and then want more money
The clue is in the fact he watches rugby or the rags as the experience is no doubt similar.
He's had a few tattoos done, got himself some Turkey teeth and I dare say he's got a couple of hairs growing where he didn't have before and his balls might have finally dropped.Anybody in here more familiar with United than me, what is the likelihood that Garnacho gets more game time this season? From what I've seen of the weird lookin bloke - I know he can strike a ball.
I've seen his odds to score 10 league goals are 12/1. Is that good value?
Surely if he starts ~ 20 matches and comes off the bench in others this will hit. But does he have a place in the XI as it stands?
Ease off, he may have caugh that Gary Neville Dose doing the rounds. Probably at early stages, he ll be getting those red boils with yellow puss soon. He's had a few tattoos done, got himself some Turkey teeth and I dare say he's got a couple of hairs growing where he didn't have before and his balls might have finally dropped.
Even with all the cosmetic shit he's had done he's still one ugly ****.
thats what you get when you treat your players like crapI think it was De Gea that did the rags over. I'm sure he realised they were stringing him along until they could get the Onana deal done so he just went ahead and announced he was leaving.

It was one of the pisscan's attempts to belittle us, and, in turn, create a rivalry with Littlewoods, as the rags closed in on their 18 league titles.Spot-on. And they seem so defensive about “us not being their rival” even though we have been bitter rivals since 1894. I said that to my French mate a few times, as he did to me, all in the best of humour.Another rag "supporter" crawling out of the woodwork.

My bank account mate. Season long props are often valued wrong. 10 goals seems low for those odds. Did you read the post?Don't take this the wrong way but Who Fuckin' Cares
