Listen we probably dislike United with the same type of venom but we can’t have our judgement clouded by that.
The three worst jobs in football are managing the England.. United and Madrid jobs.... the managers of those three teams have more pressure on them to win every single game of football than anywhere else.. however.. if they are successful or do well than they are put on a pedestal above all other managers.. it’s just the way it works..
United like it or not are the biggest club in the world.. they are absolutely dire now and have been for years but they are still recognised along with Madrid as the biggest.. nobody on more trophies than my old Liverpool team during the 70s and 80s but they were still nowhere near as big as United who even had a spell in the old economy division.
City have been the best for quite a while now.. they absolutely battered United last weekend however did they get much credit.. No.. it was all about how poor United were and how much of crisis the club is in.. that will tell you the gulf in club size and Why the Brighton boss would walk over hot Coles to go there if he got the chance.
Which of the many Cole’s will he be walking over - Andy, Ashley, Joe etc.

I'm more than happy for them to be the biggest club in the world, the same way the Titanic was the biggest ship and
Ratboy is the biggest ****.

Biggest certainly does'nt mean best.

Ofcorse they are manufactured.. they like Liverpool.. Arsenal.. and Chelsea are global brands just like Burger King or Pizza Hut.. City's current trajectory will soon make them a global franchise too.
Supporting United or Liverpool from a fan point of view is nothing special.. every Tom.. Dick.. Harry.. Lars or Wang from South Korea can be a supporter because they want to be associated with a winning or successful fashion accessory.. City like Everton stil have links to there home City however Man City are fast losing there’s.. I bet when you go the match now you starting are seeing some weird and wonderful sights and hearing accents to go with them creeping in.. haha you have it all to come.
And along comes Nigel Farage again …

I agree with this part, go over to Ticket Exchange pages on here and that is apparent

CL games at home are sometimes the worst.

I am fortunate, i have a season ticket and loyalty points so i can still get tickets whenever i want and pay reasonable prices but it is changing fast

Average single match day tickets in the PL are now at least £70 - that is a disgrace however I saw a piece which said PL demand is higher now than ever for all clubs so people will pay for that once a season, family day out

I know for a fact in the 70's when my dad took me to my first games if it was costing him for one game I bet at least half a weeks wages, there is no way I would be as hooked as i am now because we would simply not have gone

Family of 4 (2 adults / 2 kids) I bet is £220 just to get in the ground.

I think the Brighton boss would move to Old Trafford in a heartbeat if the offer comes.. it’s still the biggest managerial job in football alongside the England and Madrid job.
Is he an idiot? Nobody in their right mind would step into that cesspit. Manager of the rags looks good on a CV but would not survive the question:
”And what did you achieve there?”

Why is it tge biggest job in football.
Cos skysports said so.
Bigger than the Brazil or Argentina job?.
they used to be a big club for 20 odd years.
Are they now ?

Who is everyone's favourite? I can't look past Moyes personally. I actually think if they'd stuck with van Gaal another 18 months they'd be competing for titles by now. He was boring but he was building a decent team - Jose saw the benefits of that with his 2nd place finish.

Moyes (2013-2014)
Giggsy (2014)
van Gaal (2014-2016)
Mourinho (2016-2018)
Ole (2018-2021)
Carrick (2021)
Ralf (2021-2022)
Ten Hag (2022-2023)
Yep, van Gaal was trying to drag them into the modern football era by getting them to actually string a few passes together. But he had to start from the very beginning so it was going to take at least 3-4 seasons to get up to speed. The arrogant bastards didn't want to wait that long and here they are 8 years later, the dopey twats.

They are the largest manufactured club in the world, in fact I reckon Barcelona are bigger because the media over the last 30 years have taken residence up their arses too.

It's like saying that one direction were the best band in the world and not manufactured shite to sell to the doey eyed gimps who don't know any better.
Sky made them the biggest cash cow in the world so the media fawn all over them.
Largest fan base I would agree, other than that their the laughing stock of world football.
Personally I'm happy with being the best football club in the world and smashing the mard arsed cunts each year.
They have to take a long term view to get back, serious investment in their academy is where to start, they won't because they need jam today to survive, dare I say "not in my lifetime". LGHU

Something that only sprung to mind just now, and has almost definitely been mentioned since Wednesday night; didn't a certain YT utd vlogger say a while back that he was looking forward to Eddie Howe schooling Pep. I guess that didn't age all that well!

Van Gaal by a country mile. You could see what he was trying to do. Identified worthy youth players to play along side experienced players that he signed. But most of all had a sense of humour and would stand his ground. Mysteriously sacked 2 days after winning the FA Cup, a trophy that the current regime are a million miles away. If they`d stuck with him they`d be in a much better situation than they currently are.
And best of all he`s not shy of giving the Rags both barrels since leaving the Swamp.

Manchester United want to recruit another striker to support Denmark's Rasmus Hojlund as concerns grow over the development over the 20-year-old. (Mail)

Very strange attitude to a player you bought less than a few months ago?

How little faith can the show to even have a story like that leak already? Shameful behavior from a shameless club

The more they descend into absolute chaos, the more executives at other clubs will realise managers employed there previously didn't stand a chance, so they won't bother asking that question.

Ten Haag was just asked can utd fight back?

Ten haag.. yes of course we showed great fightback against Brentford.

But not against City, Arsenal, Spuds, Newcastle ,Brighton etc etc shall I go on Teg ?
