OK then, they're not popular club worldwide. You changed my mind about a fact.

Ironic really. I was gonna talk about your last sentence but it's all a sentence. The last bit about saying the same thing over and over. It applies to you too. You can keep saying their global reach isn't big but the reality is that it is.

Don't worry, it doesn't make you less of a city fan to acknowledge a fact. They're a big and popular club worldwide. They're shite but still a big entity. It's not worth being upset over mate.
Yeah, just revel in their shitiness. Will the rags ever be any good again? Not in my lifetime.

Beeb have afeature on who can spend in this transfer window and include this graphic

The rags have lost so much they can't even put a figure on it, yet still being linked with every decent player under the sun. Also worth noting the nett spend champions from down the East Lancs don't seem quite so virtuous anymore
All this is of absolutely no significance whatsoever because as all true football fans know "Man U" have an academy (the best in the world) full of world class prospects who grew up in S. America dreaming of OT and several out on loan at PSG who will return to OT after playing in las night's match. None of them will cost a penny and "Man U" will be "back where they belong" next season.

Cunha going from 16th to 15th what a step up... seems a weird move for him, there were surely much better sides interested in him. Why are you picking united over an arsenal? Why are you picking a united over a newcastle or villa? Why are you even choosing united over a brighton? I'm sure he'll be on a crazy wage but that can't be worth ruining your career.
The rags won't care

Theyve signed their saviour Rasmus Cunha

I didnt say they werent big, i said the brand isnt anywhere near what it was

Is that Chelsea figure including the £200m womens team sale?

Why have we got an * along with them?
The chelsea figure does include the 200k for the womens team sale, which hasn't yet been accepted, hence the asterisk, our asterisk is because the effect of the 115 decision isn't yet known

At a vanlife festival. I’m the only City fan I’ve seen - no tell a lie saw a kid on the 1st night.
A couple of Real, a PSG, and 2 poor young sods in United tops with PR37 on the back - which begs the question, as they are growing young lads so the shirts can’t be that old to fit, why they had that name on the back, presumably dad/mum is pineing for the past and couldn’t face putting a dross name on the back

Cunha's a good player, workrate maybe isn't top and consistency can be questioned, but he's talented.

I wonder if they've actually signed him as the Fernandes replacement?

Sounds like Goncalves is meant to replace Ratty if he leaves (be surprised if he doesn't go to Saudi)

What? This is MANCHESTER UNITED we are talking about (please read in a shouty Jim Shite voice)

I live in Korea and travel to nearby countries a fair bit. Rag shirts are still by far the most common English club shirts. Obviously the odd Spurs shirt in Korea because of Son but id say about 90% of English club shirts in this part of the world are Man U
Never mind they will eventually catch up with the rest of the world.
