As I’ve said already, I’ve a friend whose job is actually helping major European clubs find owners. So he has a lot of contacts within the football world. He has said, straight out, that it’s no secret in football circles , that the people involved in the case against city are being intimidated in different ways, one being them being followed home. So it’s happening.
It’s also very easy to twist a narrative , particularly if you have the kind of funds these criminals have to play with.
Suppose they have to cater for Martin Edwards predilections!
All sounds fair to me. The fans all celebrated the 'marginal gains' team taking over. Well, this is what you get. All about marginal gains - that includes financial stuff as well - free meals spring to mind.
If City's owners, Saudi Arabi presumably, are so sinister and dangerous surely there would be no need to follow anyone home, they'd just sidle up to them in a cafe and say 'we know where you live, where your wife shops and we know which school your daughter goes to'got this off the cafe!
