Ten Bob is going to ruin Knobee ManYoo.

He played 35 games last season, and he has started every game, including the Community Shield, this term.

And he’s still only 19.

I know ten Bob doesn’t have the quality of squad that Pep had at his disposal, but when Phil was 19, Guardiola was still managing his minutes.

If they’re not careful, the rags will ruin him.
Compare and contrast with how Pep has brought through Foden, Rico and Bobb. He's some player but getting run into the ground in an average team with Casemiro is terrible for his development.

They aren’t good in the middle of the park which is giving them huge problems. Casemiro played some hospital passes yesterday to put them into trouble, Mainoo is young and will dip in form if he’s not protected and rotated. They sold one of their better performing players in McTominey which means the new guy from PSG needs to hit the ground running for them.

Didn't know Greg Wallace was a rag...

What do you mean "ruin him"? Playing for the rags and given minutes by the bald Ole has given Mainoos reputation an insane boost with him even being called up to the national team despite not even being half as good as McAtee. Since Mainoo made his debut Uniteds abysmal PL record is actually significantly worse with him on the pitch compared to without him, strange considering his impact have apparently been so amazing. Somehow being a youth player playing for United makes every pundit and rag fan judge his performances differently with all good things about his game being highlighted and praised to oblivion while all the weak parts of course is being completely ignored since "he is just a kid". Was just 2 years ago they considered Elanga as a potential world class winger just like with every mediocre youth player that gets minutes in that club. One of the many reasons United are a joke these days.

It's easy for the Rags to blame the loss entirely on Casemiro, but as Slot himself explained his gameplan, it's United's structure that's the bigger problem. Liverpool played through their initial press and was able to cut through their midfield like butter. They still conceded after taking Casemiro off.

The problem still lies with Ten Hag.
