It seems to happen a lot where their players hold them to ransom and refuse to leave so end up running their contracts down and leaving for free. Or just messy exits in general.

Either they're an anomaly or they're just dreadful are keeping things in-house.

I'm not being funny but if you didn't already realise that utd are corrupt and have been for a few years you haven't been paying attention. Ferguson was at the forefront, personally he is a cheating ****, his relations whilst on tour in America are an open secret, his influence on referees also well known.
