Only a total lunatic would take that job...that is why it's almost certain to be Eric Cantona.

He only managed them for 128 games but used 48 players. By contrast, Guardiola has managed us for 486 games and used 90 players.

Back-of-the-envelope calculations but rather telling.

Just like with transfers, they will be linked with all the great ones, and end up with the worst.
Having said all that, our owners supported Lesley with funds and his choice of some players ... and then sacked him, so they've got part of it right!

Gutted. Genuinely didn't think this would happen given how much it will cost them and how little difference it will make for the rest of the season.

It was an enjoyable rid but the cycle starts again now. They'll have to get rid of most of the £800m garbage brought in for him and they'll get a mere fraction of that back even if they manage to get rid. No decent manager is going to want to go into that mess, too much work to do, be funny if they are forced to stick with horse face for the season as they're rejected left right and centre.

In the meantime, Old Trafford is falling down, nistelrooy's a fucking clown. Still works.

I've muted it but he's still waffling away. Its going to be breaking news all day with interview after interview as if they ain't a mid table team.
They are everbody's favourite team if you never actually have ever been to a live football match. Most of their supporters haven ‘t got a clue where Manchester is, let alone the Borough of Trafford.
