This guy is a multi billionaire yet he is a penny pinching areshole. He clings to his Manchester roots in publicity but ultimately his family moved to Yorkshire when he was 10. He has no real links to Gtr Manchester, and its people, choosing to be a Chelsea fan, even making a last minute bid to buy. The opportunity to jump in bed with the Glaziers, who were more caring than him, was too good to be missed, his only objective is to make more money and anything or anyone getting in his way will be cast aside.
He made 250 employees of the club redundant without a care to save what to him is peanuts. The remaining employees have had their privileges cut to the bone, loosing trips, tickets to cup finals etc, staff benefits such as meals whilst on duty and now the staff party. What does he think it’s going to achieve aside from saving a few hundred thousand pounds a year? Has he any concern of the moral of the employees both full and part time? Of course not, he spends more on a private jet flight than the saving.
Look I hate the club as much as anyone. I think his management style is only leading to more discontent and ill will which is great but, at a personal level he his shitting from a great height on the likes of you and me, the employees maybe rags, some maybe other clubs, regardless they are the same as us.
They should have look at his history and there they would have seen his MO, which is not to spend his own money, but to spend others’ and reap the benefit

Well said mate. Those employees he got rid of may have really needed that employment and that twat turns up and pulls the rug from under them. Probably a "there's a new sheriff in town" act from him in all likelihood. He's a total tosser.

That set of fans deserve a few decades of shite, but those employees didn’t deserve that.

As well as those who’ve lost their jobs, there is also a story come out that some employee offices at Old Trafford have been converted into more corporate areas and those employees are now working on laptops in the staff canteen.

Which brings us back to the media.
To stop Neville moaning about the Glazers scruffy got him on board. No one in the media has asked how much are they paying him whilst sacking hundreds of workers.
Seb Coe isn't doing his 'will you please pay for new ground' gig for free and yet they've cancelled the Christmas party.
Not one journalist has challenged his redundancies. As you say, normal hard working Mancs laid off but mega rich ex sportsmen brought in for 6 times more but no one will comment negatively

I remember a few years back, my wife and I were sitting at breakfast near a very well-known chap who is absolutely loaded. He was with three cronies and almost his entire conversation was a moan about the cost of diesel.

I thought - 'If I had your brass I wouldn't give a fuck if diesel was twice the price.'
