Just read the Player Ratings on the mUen web site - not sure which game they were watching as their scores didn't reflect the media reports.

As much as we all would absolutely love this to happen I don't think it will. Don't get me wrong, I'd be doing somersaults up and down our avenue for a week if they did. I think they'll steer clear of the drop sadly. A nice thought though, no doubt about it.

They certainly won’t be losing next Thursday. They will have a confidence boosting heavy victory Im afraid.
 
Watched until they scored then binned it off.

Usual performance from them, absolutely shite but kept going and it paid off partly with Soton missing loads of chances and the new George Best (January 2025 version) getting them out of the shit.

That Yaya guy who looks like he's from Star Wars stood out in an awful performance in particular as fucking rubbish for them.

I’ve just read the MEN article about this and Rashford’s comments about it. And I have to say that I can see exactly where he’s coming from. As he said, and assuming he’s telling the truth that he doesn’t personally know him and what his past is, loads of people will have asked him for a pic when he’s out and about and he can’t exactly do a background check on each person he poses for a photo with. Let’s not forget that Ederson was duped into having his photo taken with Tommy Two Names Robinson a few years back, and it was only afterwards that he found out who Yaxley-Lennon was, leading him to release a statement distancing himself from his racist views.

For me, it’s a nothing story and typical of the sensationalist shite put out by that particular gutter rag.

Irritating that this result has seen the old united resurface, getting completely outplayed yet somehow snatching an entirely undeserved win.

Hopefully it's a freak one off as this season has seen them mostly get the results their play deserves.
