I'm triggered.View attachment 143842
Fuck em!
I did for years - most often after a fair few pints of Joseph Holts’ finest. You really couldn’t make it up, could you?
Screwed by the constraints of PSR and that's after those nice people at the Premier League gave them an unprecedented £75m in "exceptional spending" allowances.Amorim calling them the worst ever side is just his budget Mourinho impression, portray them as this dreadful £1billion side that's not his fault whilst he's in the honeymoon phase to give himself a bit of leeway when the results don't improve and set expectations at an all time low. It's not a bad plan to be fair.
There is absolutely nothing funnier and more fitting in football than United being screwed by the constraints of PSR. They pushed for it to keep others at bay and protect the advantage they had only for their unprecedented level of mismanagement to result in PSR shackling them. Delicious, delicious Irony.
They're running out of options now, their homegrown players are thin on the ground, Rashford will get them pennies now that the world see's how shit he is, mainoo and garnacho are the only assets they have that won't actually cost them money to sell, once they're gone, they're stuck with the garbage they have and no quick fixes.
Their self righteousness is mind blowing isn't it.But the plastic prat up the road from me (who still doesn't talk to me, let alone acknowledge me) is still firm in his belief that the country should all get behind the rags because they are a 'national asset' - his words.
Petty, childish and vindictive, I'd say he suits the club he follows.
Fulham go 10 pts clear of them with a win.
Doesn't matter by the looks of it. 270M of losses is fine currentlyWould another season of non champions league money hit them quite hard financially regarding PSR/FFP next season?? I do hope so
I've always said he retired after flogging a dead horse. Moyes was on a hiding to nothing from day 1.Fully agree.
Fergie was good at buying and selling players back in the 90s pre bosman and pre transfer windows. Back then you could just buy up the inform players as and when and bully the deadwood out of the club. To be fair tactically he would always put a balanced team out but he basically bullied his way to success.
But toward the end of his time he couldn't stand the player power shift. He didn't make any big name signings toward the end as he couldn't cope with the demands and perception that they had some control. He was a creature of an earlier time.
He squeased the last few titles out of and ageing and declining squad. And then I'm sure his out dated mentality made life difficult for all the subsequent managers. United would have been far better of if he had walked away completely instead or lurking around like the ghost of Christmas past.
lots of rumours flying around about rashford atm, my feeling would be not.I'll be surprised to see him play for them again this season (if at all) but who knows? Would be funny to see him flop again.
