Absolutely scandalous that these cunts are getting our money to build a stadium. This needs to be jumped all over by rival fans. Fucking councils can't even afford to collect bins once a week and they're spunking money on this.
How can billionaires that don't even live here go cap in hand and the government just say 'ye ok'?!?

It appears the government isn't funding the 'sporting elements' of the project.

So maybe road/rail infrastructure? There's been talk of a 'White City' railway station for some time.

What City needs is similar investment in the shocking transport infrastructure that 'serves' the Etihad.

I’m pretty sure if you polled 100 voters across the country if the government should spend ~£200m moving a train station to facilitate Ratcliffe spending 10x that amount building a stadium, all 100 of them would say yes.

It’s really bizarre how stupid some posters are being about this. The problem is not the government spending this money, it’s the local government not doing the same to add more tram capacity for the Etihad.
