St Fishfinger is employed by the world's biggest football club, so we are constantly told. He is a valuable asset, allegedly. What are utd doing to guide and help him. I would have thought that they would have assisted him with his financial situation and most importantly, his mental health issues. That is unless these services have been scrapped by worzel on cost grounds.

Sounds like he needs to put all his cards on the counsellor’s table rather than the casino one.
When our son's 7-year-old son was swept out to sea and drowned six years ago he was inconsolable for months in spite of our, and his then partner's best efforts to get him to consult a counsellor. Eventually he succumbed and after quite a few sessions he started to get better in himself. Obviously, he will never forget watching it happen.

Anyway, last year his now wife of only eight months died from kidney failure and cancer of the cervix. Without any prompting he was off to a counsellor. He is still suffering anxiety but is much better from talking to 'the professionals".

How many people experience such traumatic events in such a short timeframe?

The point I am making is it is each individual's choice on whether they wallow in their dark place or take the initiative to get back to living a life.

Says something about his employer if he's having mental health issues and their attitude is getting rid.

Then again the scum have never been known for being a moral and upstanding organisation.
Contrast their approach to looking after their employees to the reaction of Pep when David Silva's son was undergoing his fight for life.

I found counselling very therapeutic. I would advise anyone struggling for whatever reason to use this outlet. I got some good advice too.

Perhaps I missing something.
If he has genuine mental health issues he deserves all the help he can get....
BUT why does every rich (newsreader cough) bloke have mental health issues when they fuck up?
One minute Rashford is the poor, hungry, cant read success story. Next minute, when he can't get into the first team because he's on the piss in Belfast, he has mental health issues.

We need to stop trivialising a serious problem.
You make a great point and an important one. It is the case now, in the social media driven world, that everything must have a label and a simplistic explanation for consumption. It isn’t just done with mental health either. When Greg Wallace was recently exposed as a bit of a sex pest, it is suddenly down to undiagnosed autism. He might be autistic, but he isn’t a sex pest because he’s autistic. And not everyone who fucks up in life has genuine mental health problems. This type of lazy labelling attaches an unjustified and damaging stigma to people struggling with serious issues.

Manchester United have engaged several agents to try to sell Brazil midfielder Casemiro, 32, before the transfer deadline. (Manchester Evening News)

FFS haven't they realized nobody else will take this piece of shit on with his wages, no matter how many Del boys and Boycies you employ
The knobs on the Sky transfer pod cast say he’s one of their most sellable players. You couldn’t make this shit up.

Are they getting some allowances on PSR as surely they can’t afford Tal & Dorgu in the same window?

If any of you are familiar with the ESPN series 30 for 30, have a look at the episode entitled Broke.

I am surprised more young footballers in England/Europe don’t go off the rails.

You have piles of money, fame, hot women chasing you and guys willing to be sycophants and ass kissers in return for financial support. I genuinely wonder how I would have coped in that type of situation in my early to mid 20s….

I'm sure they will if he goes there (and I can't honestly see what he'd add to any Premier League team other than a load of unwanted hassle but maybe Emery knows better)
Emery needs fucking.

He could have got the fans hitting the wank wall by bringing Grealish "home" for rest of the season.
