If they sell to the Qataris then they wont need any funding in the first place will they ? When he says "we" , is he expecting the Glazers to jump ship when an even bigger cash cow is in the making ?
The united propaganda machine is in full flow.
Ther could be a reason it will look like a tent it’s either because the Qataris are going to buy it or because it’s like a fucking circus.

Probably outcomes

1. That stadium will not be built in the next five years, probably not even the next ten
2. It'll cost at least twice what they are saying
3. It will look nothing like that and be a downgraded design
4. It's an FFP dodge and they'll claim exaggerated consultancy/architectural/feasibility studies costs like £50 million Liverpool did with the fake Stanley Park development that never happened.
5. All of the above
Fosters fees will be hard to exaggerate mate...otherwise...5.

Not a fucking chance it ends up looking like that.

Half the builders will have been laid off way before it’s finished as well.

Cunts!

Just a thought.
I grew up in Ordsall and remember that area as full of heavy industry and all sorts of traffic going constantly in and out of the place. 60s/70s.
I have just finished watching Toxic Town and surely the land around there must be contaminated too.
Before the CFA could be built I remember City having to decontaminate the whole area.
So who foots the bill for that if it was discovered to be the same?

Correct answer.

"What could this area look like if.... "

Interns doing fantasy projects to let them experience the speed the industry demands.
Fancy visualisations though. Takes me back :) Anyway, nice career mate, Mr Norman turned me down for a model making job years ago. Did you work in the glass dildo? :) :)

Those pictures will be In accounts they'll have at a cost of 50M+ when in fact they use AI and it took 5mins costing 10p

So a club which is struggling for money is set to spend billions on a new stadium, a large part of it coming from taxpayers. Yet little old City get accused of cheating authorities by spending their own money and proving what we always new, that a well run business will ultimately be successful.
Except tax-payers won’t pay a penny towards the actual Stadium itself.

They simply cannot afford a £2bn stadium development.
The only way this gets built is if someone gives them the money, no strings attached.
This is a nonsense proposal from a nonsense club.
Plus, it'll go way over budget. These things always do. Probably end up 3.5bn

Someone please reassure me that no tax money is going to fund this.
Its not going to happen imo. It comes out a day after that disaster of an interview with SJR, it looks a photoshop job to me, made to make the fans go wooow, ahhhh something to be proud of and pleased with, we can win at stadium building, blow spurs out of the water... Taking their minds off the shite actually going on.
He'll need to string this along though because I think the utd fans are headed towards another bout of protests. Maybe he can use Simon Stone to quell them to a degree.

But our govn, giving them 100's millions of british tax money whilst their American owners sit in the lap of billionaire luxury... They'll drag the govn down with them a little if they try that one. I just cant see it happening.

Separately though, something tells me sjr has been completely caught out with buying utd, I really think he thought there wouldnt be this much spotlight on them. Fkin idiot.
