Why would they do that?

We're all wondering how on earth the rags can afford players who cost in the region of £60m each. We're a bit concerned that they are quality players and it ain't fair. Well it ain't! But we know the raggies better than that, and we should be asking the right questions - such as, how much will the poor sods be worth this time next year when Sir Jim has helped turn them into two more high profile flops and has to "move them on".
