United To Struggle For Top 4?

Ferdinand and Vidic still to come back so they will remain hard to beat. However they do appear to lack creativity. Difficult to judge properly though as they always make a slow start.

It's one hell of a crazy mother f*cker that counts Bacon face out of the running.

......Besides referee's won't see the scum drop out of the top four anytime soon theses wankers have been paid well, very well indeed!

This is still the weakest manure team I can remember for years. I'd say they only have 4 european class players, Vidic, Wio, Evra & Rooney. The rest of the squad are either kids, pensioners or average-good premiership players. Their bench used to have Rooney, Tranny, Tevez etc on it at times, now it's looking like the City bench from last season where everyone on it has definitely less quality then the 1st team so he can't rely on bringing on "stars" to change a game.

They still, potentially have a class strikeforce with Shrek, Berbaflop and little Micky but one of those has to show he cares and another has to regain form and stay fit.

Midfield looks really weak (for the scum), Fletcher and Carrick are not really that better than a lot of PL CMs and they are definitely weaker there than Chelski, Arsenal & Liverpool. Nani, Valencia, Anderson, Park, Scholes and Giggs are average or old.

Their defence still looks strong in the first team (apart from right back) and VDS is old but without the class forwards and midfield in front of them I wonder how solid that defence is going to look if teams start to attack them and not keep 9 men behind the ball.

I think they will (probably) still be Top 4 but doubt they will win the league, especially if the invincible myth gets busted and teams actually go out to give them a game instead of defending for 90 minutes. A couple of long term injuries to shrek and/or one of the back 4 and I think they could end up in a EUFA spot.

They'll have a strong back 4 when they are all fit but their midfield is where the problems lie.

They have noone that can break the line like Tranny did and change the speed of the game. No creativity.

What did they expect playing Giggs, Anderson, Park and Carrick?

Poor old bacon face.

If they were to get long term injuries to Rooney or Vidic then they would struggle to make the top 4 without a doubt. The cracks are getting bigger though and it's only a matter of time before they implode imo.

Spot on.
Been saying the same all closed-season and got called "bitter" etc. by the rags at work.
They have no "spark" in their midfield and their strikers look like strangers.
They've simply replaced Ronaldo with Rooney as the "must have" player with one problem-he's actually nowhere near as good.

I wish we were playing them on Saturday.

I would not be at all surprised if Utd made a big signing soon ( or even two).

If they stick with what they have, they're are going to struggle ( by their own standards) and I think this could well be the worst season they've had in a long, long time.

I think the top 4 is going to change this year and Utd and Chelsea look the most likely teams to lose out.

I dont Think they will not get in the top 4 but I dont think they have the mind set to win it now they wonder diver boy has gone.....

I hope the kicking off Burnley (not exactly a kicking but its 3 points lost) will hinder them and maybe lose some of their momentum?

What ya think.

I can see what your trying to say, but they'll grind out results and still be title-contenders easily IMO.

Sorry Ryan but I have to disagree...They didnt grind out a result last night did they??
