Sportswashing Arena. What stadium is it being held in
It has roots going back older than the Football League with the World Club Championship between the English and Scottish FA Cup winners in 1876.This competition started in 1960…
What?! That’s a very strange take.As a New Yorker who was directly affected by the September 11th attacks, the fact that Saudi Arabia is hosting the Club World Cup puts a stain on the entire event for me.
I’ll be much more interested in watching that than I would be international tournaments. We've also qualified for the new expanded format starting from 2025 too. From then it will be every 4 years.

Someone else replied to this post, and turns out I was wrong. United and Liverpool can't get in, unless they win next year's CL, otherwise there's a limit of 2 teams per association.

Yeah, pisses me off every time Germany hosts a tournament. Oh England was at war with France at the battle of Waterloo too so the French hosting a tournament offends me.As a New Yorker who was directly affected by the September 11th attacks, the fact that Saudi Arabia is hosting the Club World Cup puts a stain on the entire event for me.
This is the US media narrative which began last week when LIV golf merged with the PGA.What?! That’s a very strange take.
It was a multi-National terrorist organisation that were the perpetrators of that, not Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is an ally of the UK and USA.
Seems odd that you’re a New Yorker yet don’t understand the finer details of it all. Just because some Saudi nationals were involved doesn’t have anything in relation to Saudi Arabia as a country.
Decent film that.My favourite Laundrette
