One I heard loads in the 90's was always about someone's aunty that was on holiday in the states.

The woman in question got in a lift with 3, always African American, men. One of them say's "hit the floor lady' and she falls to the ground asking them not to hurt her.

Turns out one of the guys was Eddie Murphy and he was simply asking her to press the button of her floor in the lift. He apologises and pays for her stay at the hotel.
