Question ;

can the rest of the world trust the USA to be an ally economically or militarily going forward. I'd say no and we all need to recognise the facts sooner rather than later and forge alliances elsewhere asap

The likelihood of Trump tanking the economy is high in my view. Tariffs will be a disaster and tax cuts at the higher end are counter productive. Meanwhile ‘drill baby drill’ will have no effect during his term.

I think that's fair. Just because they are associated with South Africa doesn't make rhem racist.

Elon Musk comes across as a **** though. Not as much as Trump but its all so weird.
