I don’t know about Maga losing their grip but it is certainly fraying at the edges. If Trump is convicted……It's about time the US passed the aid package for Ukraine!
Out of curiosity - to gauge how Republicans feel about this - I read comments on an article about the aid package on Fox News.
Senate approves $95B aid package for Ukraine and Israel, TikTok divestment, awaits Biden's signature
The Senate voted to send the $95 billion package with aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan to the president's desk on Tuesday, months after additional aid was requested by Biden.www.foxnews.com
Even on Fox News, where you'd expect most posters to be particularly partisan, the comments seem to have been evenly divided - 50% in favor, 50% opposed.
MAGA is finally losing its grip on the Republican Party. And I'd never in a million years have guessed that Mike Johnson would play a positive role in this outcome.
I do think that MAGA is losing its grip. It would have been unthinkable 2 months hence for the Speaker to go against Trump and advance a bill in support of aid for Ukraine.I don’t know about Maga losing their grip but it is certainly fraying at the edges. If Trump is convicted……
I dont think an acquittal seems unlikely. It only takes 1 juror. Id say an acquittal is more likelyJust so. Let's just hope the fucker is convicted. An acquittal - though it seems unlikely - would probably boost Trump's numbers.
We'll see - I have faith in the jury.I dont think an acquittal seems unlikely. It only takes 1 juror. Id say an acquittal is more likely
I’ll take that bet.I dont think an acquittal seems unlikely. It only takes 1 juror. Id say an acquittal is more likely
@Uncle Wally One BallI’ll take that bet.
Even if found guilty of all 88 felonies, the chances of him ever seeing a cell are extremely low.Punishment on the misdemeanour is likely a fine, but the felony carries serious prison time.
