He could, and probably will, lose the national vote by millions of votes. That’s not important!

There are states that are red and states that are blue. In red states, blue votes don’t matter. In blue states, red votes don’t matter. Nature of the beast, I’m afraid.

What DOES matter is that there a few large states that have large blocks of Electoral College votes. How THOSE states vote REALLY MATTERS!

In fact, not only do they matter, but how the COMBINATION of their EC votes tot up is vitally important.

America is a PURPLE country. However, in a “winner take all” vote for nearly every state, the vote can be 10m to 10m+1 and the 10m+1 party gets ALL THE EC VOTES, so that state is painted that colour, even though it’s as purple as could be.

This election of about 160M votes is going to boil down 10-20,000 votes in a handful of states.

GA has been “fixed” this time around by putting MAGA election deniers in charge of the certification of the GA vote, and some key counties.

If a few key counties can’t certify their vote, then the state can’t do it and a key swing state can be held to ransom…and maybe go to Trump’s Supremes!!!

It’s sad we have found ourselves here, but in a FUD election, it’ll depend how clear minded voters are…or are we going to WWIII?!

Incidently;, I thought bear baiting was illegal?
Harris won by letting Trump defeat himself.

For me, Harris simply had to get through the evening without appearing un-presidential, which she did, not always comfortably, yet that was something few people would have predicted earlier in the summer. I’m presuming that Harris now spends her war chest prudently and goes on to win, albeit narrowly. If that scenario unfolds, the nightmare can be averted. However, if that scenario unfolds, where next for the Republican Party?

I was reading about this last week. It does worry me, which is insane really. It’s like some banana republic.

Marc Elias of Democracy Docket is on the job. Trust him to foil their plans. He has a massive team. Trump has already mentioned him as an enemy who will be locked up when he wins the White House.
