To me as well, which would put him in jail. That’s why I say it can’t be real.Sounds like election interference to me.

I think it is dodgy, but he's reasonably confident that he could point to similar undeclared amounts coming into US political campaigns from elsewhere if challenged.I'm wondering if one of US brethren could tell me if this is legitimate in politics over there:
Seems very dodgy to me??Elon Musk pledges to give away $1m per day to Pennsylvania voters
The winner will be chosen from those who sign a petition by the tech billionaire's Trump-supporting campaign group.www.bbc.co.uk
It's real. How do I know this? Because major news outlets have all reported this to be the case; and, at least for now, I trust the press (with notable right-leaning organizations, starting with Fox News). To me as well, which would put him in jail. That’s why I say it can’t be real.
It sounds inconceivable that this could happen, the US may as well be Russia, using money and influence to buy an election. It's real. How do I know this? What's unclear, is the legality of what Elon is doing. Needless to say, Elon's lawyers think that what he's doing is probably legal... which, oh-by-the-way, is another weakness in US Democracy. It's not just "bad actors" or just "bad system" (no system is perfect - and the 200+ year old US Constitution and resultant institutions is no exception; improvements could, in theory be made; but, of course, in practice, won't be in the foreseeable future) that's at work - it's a mixture of the two that created the mess the US is now in.
It's very conceivable - and has actually happened. Why? Because each side in an election will inevitably seek maximum perceived legal (or at times illegal) advantage subject to legal/ethical/moral/integrity constraints. Musk and Trump are unconstrained, except, perhaps, for the obviously illegal. It sounds inconceivable that this could happen, the US may as well be Russia, using money and influence to buy an election.
What does Musk want? It's very conceivable - and has actually happened. Why? That you think what's happened is inconceivable, indicates that you fundamentally misunderstand Musk/Trump. In fact, it's quite the opposite - it's all too believable that Musk is engaging in borderline election interference - the only unbelievable aspect of this is that Musk didn't start sooner.
He's on the scale - autistic. So who actually knows? He's pissed off at Democrats, that's for sure; and wants Trump to win b/c of this. What does Musk want?
