I think the abortion rate has gone down from a 1m in a year down to around 750k in 2019 (I think this is the last true recorded data) and then Covid hit.
It will be interesting to see the next recorded data up until this new ruling takes effect.
In fact, whilst writing this response, I had a quick look online and found that Abortion Rates Rose in 2020...
There's blame for the Trump administration as you mentioned before, fair enough, but there's also a very peculiar catch all phrase of "unintended pregnancies" which, to me, means 'irresponsibility'.
I was using general stats not just USA. For the reasons I mentioned as well as the fact that the USA is an outlier in that it has no universal healthcare system, it isn't reliable to use as a case study for that correlation.
