It is illegal in UK elections to invoke god. Similarly, any endorsement by a priest, imam etc is forbidden.
Religious parties were banned in Turkey until Erdogan came along and changed the constitution. Not sure about EU.

The entire point is to troll, to own the libs. It’s the entire platform of the party. Every policy, every word, from everyone in MAGA. It seems insane because it’s specifically designed to anger you and bewilder you, to put the attention on them. It’s why Trump is so popular — because he angers so many of the opposition. If he were to suddenly behave “normally”, his support would drop like a stone.

This one is great as it puts a fire under Lauren Bobert. She was hoping to slide into this safer seat at the next election. Now she can only stand here if she resins first. She most likely won't as she doing bad in the polls. An admission of failure.

As for the dems winning back control. I don't see that happening before November. But the other big news this week is Trump is close to fully annexing the RNC. He has his people in control. He had his loyalist in control before and the fundraising was terrible so naturally he wants it to be literally his family running it now. First up firing 60 staffers. That's the brains of the Republican movement being fully labotomised. The mechanisms that ensured funds went to down ticket candidates will no doubt be ripped up and all cash sent in bin bags to mar a lago.

It's a gift for dems.
