This is where the scheming really begins in earnest. Dems should find a Republican that's as normal as possible, and hates the Q lot as much as possible and throw their votes behind them. They'd only need half a dozen other R's to agree.

It's bizarre that someone can be nominated who doesn't want the job and has nominated someone else.

You could disrupt the GOP more if someone nominated Trump! (The constitution doesn't say it has to be a member of Congress!)
