CNN seems to be following a trend where commercial management and objective journalism are out of the window and it will just become a platform for a rich politically motivated owner(s) to generate or promote biased talking points.

The viewing numbers will tank but its all about the influence - directly or via twitter etc.
 
How can you tell it's a national holiday in the US?

All the news channels are anchored by minorities at times they wouldn't usually be allowed to host at.

He won’t be.

I found this thread below equal parts confusing and informative, I am sure in part because I’m not a lawyer. Worth a read. The bottom line is that this isn’t over by a long shot, but the number of potential directions it goes has changed. It’s a win for Trump because it means delay, and delay is his best weapon (as it has been in nearly all the legal matters in which he’s been involved, and as it was for Richard Nixon).

The MAGAfascists have been stacking statehouses all of the country in their favour under the radar.

It’s very much a weird state of affairs to me but I’ll always leave it down to those who reside there to have the final say.

My issue, we are not far behind their system and it worries me for our generations to come.

Indeed.

We'll see the trumpian culture wars ramped up if Braverman get the home secretary role.
