We say "el acoplado" to Biden.

Acoplado means something like "fitted", "to lock on" is "acoplar", in carpentry world and this kind of stuff.

Acoplar means join a piece to something.


But also we say "el acoplado" to typical guy in a group of friends who is like... he is just a friend of one of them. We usually barely have a connection with him. He barely speaks or interacts. We just tolerate it as a favor to that friend who is our friend.


Also exemple of "acoplado", is when you are with a group of friends in a table, in a bar, taking drink, and at next table there is a guy who starts talking to you. "This is a great place". "Nice night, perfect temperature". Etc. He ends up taking over. There is a moment where it seems that he belongs to your group of friends.

This guy is the "acoplado", because he is getting something with some infiltration. White House in this case.

In addition, millions upon millions of Americans do not have stock market pensions (IRAs & 401Ks) because we have zero requirement for them. Many MAGAts are working poor fools who think Trump will fix the economy, but couldn’t tell you whether the economy is good, bad or indifferent and/or what Trump could/would/should do about it!

There may well be a time to crow about the stock market, but it’s certainly not that time yet, with 10 months to the election!

You’d have to offer very very good odds for me to bet that the stock market isn’t higher with interest rates lower come November.
