I noticed Beto O'Rourke is more vocal (at least more noticeable from this side of the pond) having not heard much from him of late. I'd alsmot forgotten about him.
Seems like him (and someone like Gavin Newsom) fighting fire with fire is the way to go for the dems over the next few years.

Wall Street suggest they can weather the storm for the next three years (despite the economic damage Trump is managing to inflict) before returning to some sort of normality.
I don't really see this period as the end of American's dominance (and gather a fair few historians think that way) or end in a cinematic civil war, although no doubt things are getting messier by the day.
